Virtue

Today I went to the greatest Relief Society meeting at church. It was all about virtue and Proverbs 31. Camille Fronk Olson (an associate professor at BYU) came and spoke to us. One of the things she mentioned was that the Hebrew word for virtue is translated as strength or power when it is used to describe a man. She talked about how having virtue is really having strength and power from our Savior, Jesus Christ, by having faith in Him. We can accomplish all things with His help! It was just such a great reminder of what is really important while we are here on this earth. (painting by Walter Rane)

Story-time

Our kids LOVE to read stories. I confess that sometimes I get tired of them. Yesterday I was especially story-overloaded. I confided in Andrew and he helped Adelia "pretend." They pretended they were riding a horse and then they pretended that they were trees and the wind was blowing. After that she walked up to me and asked if I would read her a story. I asked her if we could pretend something instead. She said "Ok. Let's pretend to read a story." It made us laugh.
Tucker did this completely on his own and it was so fun to watch him. He did it about three times in a row and so I was lucky enough to catch it on video:)

Shoe phase

Adelia's new favorite thing is shoes! She loves to walk in them, to line them up, to put them away... She tries on everyone's shoes in our house- even Tucker's. It's pretty cute to watch her.

Moon Walk

We went to a planetarium with some family and Tucker and Adelia loved it! They especially loved walking on the moon.

Rice Cereal- Food or Hair product?

A not-so-fun first

Adelia was just diagnosed with her first ear infection. Poor girl. She's quite a trooper but we can tell she's pretty miserable. Mostly we just sit around and read stories and watch movies. Luckily, Dad hasn't started school yet and can be around to cuddle too!

Movin' Up!

Tucker is just starting to climb. It's so fun to watch him. He gets so proud of himself. The only part he hasn't conquered yet- getting down:)
